About Words Are Fun

Welcome to Words Are Fun — a cheerful shop filled with word-based printables designed to make everyday moments feel a little more creative, fun, and enjoyable.

My name is Jen (short for Jennifer), and I create word activities that invite people to slow down and enjoy words in relaxed, imaginative ways. What started as a love for puzzles has grown into a collection of printables that includes word searches, crosswords, creative activities, coloring pages, writing prompts, journals, and seasonal printables.

A Love of Words, Puzzles, and Printables

I’ve always loved puzzles and hands-on activities, especially the kind that bring people together or offer a quiet break from busy days. Over time, that love expanded into creating printables that work for many different people and situations — from classrooms and group settings to homes, events, and personal creative time.

Words Are Fun printables are used by teachers, parents, students, event hosts, teams, and hobbyists alike. Some are designed with kids in mind, others are perfect for adults, and many can be enjoyed by all ages.

Why I Create Word Activities

My goal is to create printables that feel approachable, flexible, and enjoyable — not overwhelming or complicated. In a screen-heavy world, I enjoy offering activities that encourage focus, creativity, and connection away from devices.

Whether someone is learning, relaxing, organizing, or simply having fun, I want my printables to feel easy to use and genuinely enjoyable. Sometimes that looks like solving a puzzle, sometimes it’s coloring or writing, and sometimes it’s just taking a few calm minutes with words.

A Small Shop with a Creative Focus

Words Are Fun is a small, independent shop based in the southern United States. It grew from my love of puzzles and my desire to create something fun and useful for others — and it continues to evolve as new ideas take shape.

Some seasons bring more puzzles, others bring more creative printables, and that flexibility is intentional. Everything in the shop is created with care and designed to fit naturally into real life.
